A gym space has to have a focal point. If you’re going to put a mural on it, it needs to stand out from the rest of the wall. Maybe you’re like me and love that mural on our wall. I’d like you to try something different. If you’re going for a classic look, the mural should include the colors of the gym.

A little system like this would make it easier to see your progress, but I also think it would make it less likely that you would think youve got “the hang of it”. I think a lot of people forget that their fitness regimen is a much more important thing than if theyre hitting a certain number of reps, or getting a certain number of sets.
I think if you add this element to your exercise routine, it could be a lifesaver, especially if youre doing something that might require you to be in one place for a long period of time. For example, if youre doing squats, you could make it a rule to do 10 squats for each set. You may be able to improve your muscle tone, but the good thing about squats is that they don’t have to be done at the same time every day.
One of my favorite things about squats is that they are not only good for you, they are also good for the environment. If youre doing them in a gym, youre using space and oxygen that could be better used elsewhere. If youre doing them in your living room, youre using space that could be better used elsewhere (which may be why youre doing them in your living room).
