You’re probably familiar with black owned real estate companies that have closed their doors. If you’re looking for a home, I highly recommend checking out one of these. There are so many great options out there. We’ve put together a list of our favorite black owned real estate companies near you.
We found several of these companies listed on a map we created for this article. We included a list of all the properties weve found since we created the map as well as the home listings to help you decide which ones are in your budget.
In total, we found two properties that are owned by people who are located in a city that is within 25 miles of our location. This is a really great way to find real estate that is close to where you live. As you can see in our map above, the two properties we found are located in a town about 100 miles from our home.
Property owners in the city where we live are more likely to be close to family members, so we think this is a good option for families that want to move closer to an area that is close to other family members.
There are some real estate companies that don’t seem to have a way to find out the location of their owner from the city they are located in. If you live in the Washington, DC area, you might want to check into that. But we checked the Maryland, DC area and found no such thing.
No, we found no such thing. We checked the real estate companies website and did a quick Google search for “black owned real estate company near me.” The results were not very good, so we decided to check out our own home.
The most recent real estate company to have moved out of the area in the last 10 years is the one we found (the one we were looking for in Maryland). At the time we bought our house a couple of years ago, they had been there for 13 or 14 years. That might not sound old, but it is.
Yes, Maryland has pretty old real estate agents, but the real estate industry is booming right now. There are a lot of black-owned real estate companies that have been around for decades, and they’re all trying to find homes to buy. I have heard from one of the agents that they have been told to find homes that are under the ownership of black families.
I know this is a little weird because I live in Washington, D.C., but I am not aware of any black-owned real estate companies in the Washington area. They might exist, but I don’t know of any. The only black-owned real estate company I know of is the one that I used to work for when I was in my early 20’s. The owner of this company was the first black woman to ever manage a real estate company.
The real estate company I worked for had a lot of black employees. They were all black women, and I don’t think that they were all very bright. I am sure that they all made a ton of money, but I think that it was a business that was primarily run by black people.
